Wednesday

Oh my goodness, I completely forgot last night was Wednesday night! 😱

Lol.

Ok, look. I know it was a joke, my love. I do get that, I do.

But it was also an example of that wit that I love so well (that wit which also sometimes scares me because I know I'm no match for it, and so I worry I'll bore you to tears with my relative plodding… my jokes do get there… they just take their time at it, lol).

And, sure, it landed right smack on one of my (completely optional) buttons.

But I hope it's not a huge surprise to you, nor that you mind too much, if I've latched onto it… or that I'm almost certainly going to run with it (in a letter) one of these Wednesday nights…

But I do know it was a joke. I do.
